Six writers add another layer to Remodeling by contributing short stories based on the images we created. 
Maartje Wortel (1982, the Netherlands) is a writer and columnist for Dutch newspapers NRC and Trouw. Her books Er moet iets gebeuren (2015) and Goudvissen en Beton (2016) were published by Das Mag. Basje Boer (1980, the Netherlands) is a writer and film critic. She debuted in 2006 with her short stories Kiestoon at De Arbeiderspers. Her first novel Bermuda (2016) was published by Nijgh & Van Ditmar. Shira Keller (1985, the Netherlands) is a playwright. With her short stories she is a regular contributor to Das Magazin. Her debut novel M won the Academica Literatuurprijs in 2013. David Pefko (1983, the Netherlands) is a novel and short story writer. His second novel Het voorseizoen won the Gouden Boekenuil in 2012. He is a regular contributor to Dutch and Belgian magazines Vrij Nederland, De Morgen, Mc Guffin and others. Jonathan Griffioen (1987, the Netherlands) is a poet and writer. His first collection of short stories Wijk was published in 2015. He was nominated for the C. Buddinghprijs. Jetske van Heemstra (1983, the Netherlands) is a psychologist and storyteller.
