On Sunday, 1 December 2013, Sweden Collection was presented at Café Modern from 13:00 to 17:00 in Amsterdam. The presentation was accompanied with a special Swedish winter lunch prepared by “Jacques Jour”.
The Collection is based on an inspirational visit to Sweden and the discovery Allemansrätten, which means ‘every man’s right’. Allemansrätten is about public access to nature and your enjoyment of that right. The collection is presented in Allemansrätten fashion. Models acted to be part of life in the comings and goings in Café Modern. Models were planning their escape to the forest or taking a break from their city dwellings while listening to selected incidental music.
Jacques Jours hosted a lunch in Café Modern and served all time Swedish classics like Pickled herring, Kanelbulle and etc, but its Chef, Ms. Jessica Lek, also added her own modern twist to the all-time Swedish classics.
